Mobility team we've been getting lots of emails from listeners wondering about

more episodes of Futurismo and I'm here with some very good news. New episodes

are coming. This season will be a new journey with, drum roll please, new hosts, a new format, and a new name.

Former Futurismo host Chiras Ahmed left Automotive News to go to the dark side, advertising.

So myself and senior reporter, Pete Bigelow,

are taking over.

You guys know me.

I've been running the mobility team for a couple of years

and have been reporting on the auto industry for 16.

Pete joined the team last fall.

He was a lead mobility reporter, Carn Driver,

before joining Automotive News.

So in addition to new hosts, we have a new name.

It's Shift, the Mobility Podcast. We're taking an optimistic,

yet skeptical eye at the new technology and business models planned for the auto industry.

Each episode will talk about the news of the week and then we'll chat with a

leading newsmaker in the industry. On that note we are looking for guests.
