Hey friends, we're taking the day off, so no new episode this week.

We hope that you've also been able to take some time for yourself and enjoy the long weekend.

And let there I say the summer weather.

Speaking of summer, when we come back all nice and well rested, we've got a real treat.

Next Tuesday begins the start of our Summer Love In series, our recaps of classic summer

rom-coms, rom-droms, just light-hearted and happy ending based romantic flicks.

Yeah, we just want people to fall in love and for it to be summer and maybe there's a beach.

And at the end, everyone's happy.

I mean, that is perfection and a jar to me.

Next week, we will be kicking off this series with a recap of Dirty Dancing, which is just

both very politically relevant in this moment and one of our collective favorite films

of all time.

Yeah, this movie, when I watched it for the first time as a young girl, I was just startled

by how political it was and that's one of my favorite things about it now.

And I think now is a great time to revisit this movie and think about the importance of

abortion rights and the access to safe abortion.

And also my access to watching Jennifer Gray and Patrick Swayze learning how to borrow

him dance in the summer and wearing kids and falling in love and carrying watermelons.

I mean, this movie is just really an inspiration to all Jewish girls out there who are like,

maybe I too could hook up with the Patrick Swayze.

This is an inspirational film.

And just remember, y'all, nobody puts baby in the corner.
