doing my whole life is being consumed with pop culture comic books, sci-fi fantasy. So we discuss it routinely, regularly.

That's the entire focus of this show. Here's the deal. We are closing it on the end of the year.

2021 is coming to a close. And as a result, we are doing some wrap-ups. And today we are going to talk

about the current comic book marketplace

because we just came off from an extended period of both the San Diego Comic-Con special edition,

which was held right after Thanksgiving, and then this last week's monster, L.A. Comic-Con,

the return, 2021, after two years, a monster return.

We are talking to none other than amazing Comic-Con owner and retailer,

Jimmy J, who joins us today to talk about hot characters, trends, what's flying off his

table. He had one of the busiest booths at both shows, comic books, trade paperbacks, hard

covers, omnibuses, conventions, characters, creators, signatures.

It has been way, way too long. The 21

convention season really got kick started late this last summer and it rolled into the fall

with just a huge head of steam. New York Comic-Con, San Diego Comic-Con special edition,
