Number one is don't necessarily think that it's all about money.

And then if you just pay more and more money,

then you're just going to keep getting people.

Because ultimately the person that comes to you solely because it's maximum money

is going to be the first person that leaves you because they find money somewhere else.

So it's a little stopgap to give people more money,

but it's not sustainable because then you're just

going to kill your profit. And you have to find other avenues to stand out than just paying people more

dollars. So one, number one is find ways where there's performance incentives rather than just

like straight dollars that you could give to people and say, hey, if you achieve this, you can make

X amount of dollars, but find ways

of being creative. It doesn't only have to be salespeople that get performance incentives.

It could be, hey, our business will profit share and we'll give a percentage of the profit,

so we're all kind of marching to the same job and trying to drive the same success.
