Alred has launched an early bid to challenge Senator Ted Cruz in 2024.

The Texas Democrat is a former NFL linebacker.

He pitches himself as a pragmatic and bipartisan alternative to Senator Cruz,

who already says has spent his two terms in the Senate trying to divide us.

But in a state that hasn't had a Democratic senator in 30 years,

already admits, I'm running to beat Ted Cruz, not turned Texas Blue.

After the congressman's announcement, a cruise campaign spokesperson

dismissed Allred as a, quote, far left radical who is, quote, not serious about addressing the crisis

at the border. Allred will still need to clear the March Democratic primary before a potential shot of

cruise and it's looking might actually get a bit crowded.

Congressman Beto O'Rourke shattered records the last time Senator Group is up for re-election

raking in some 80 million dollars, but coming less than 3 percentage points short of a win.

So what are Allred's chances?

And who is he a little bit?
