I would say in the last five-ish years, So much of my work as a therapist has completely evolved in my thinking. I say all that to say that it was like these kind of breadcrums that really started

informing the way when I was sitting across with clients I was going, oh my God, there is such consistency in the way that people struggle.

I don't care what your background is, I don't care socioeconomic status, I don't care gender,

I don't care, you know, career, I don't care any, I mean there's such a consistency

across people. Now I say that within maybe more of like a Western kind of Euro-American container, right?

Because collectivistic cultures obviously can look at some of the co-dependency work differently and I understand that completely.

But I just started noticing all of these throughlines.

kind of as a conversation piece,

building a sense of self, capital S, kind of recovery just in general.
