all right this is going to be a super quick episode because i don't have a lot of time right now i've

got about 15 minutes to get this in and this is a perfect example of just send it done is better

than perfect i was sitting here like you know what i'm just going to have to miss an episode

because my schedule is pretty packed and i'm doing a live workshop tonight. So I've

been prepping for that. And for some reason, I made the brilliant call to just open up my calendar

as well for some odd reason. I've been doing this long enough that I shouldn't make

dumb mistakes like that. But I also really care about my clients and making sure that they get

what they need. So of course, everybody and their mother picked today to book calls with me.

And I was like, what was I doing? Knowing that I had this workshop that I had to prepare for

and put all my slides together and make sure that I'm ready to go for tonight. And I,

as an introvert, if there are any introverts listening, you know when it's time to be on, it's not an easy thing. Like, we got to turn up. We got to be ready. We got to put all of our energy out there. And then there's the huge adrenaline dump afterwards. But so I was like, you know what, screw it. Like I can miss a week.

It's fine. People probably won't even notice. Nobody listens to me anyway. Nobody,

nobody takes action on the things that I say. But I, you know, I'm obviously joking. But one of the

things that I recognized is part of the reason why I've been able to do what I've been able to do,

and the reason that I've been able to have some degree of success is the fact that I don't need it to be perfect.

I can just push send.

And I've noticed something about smart people.

Smart people, it's interesting because I bet you when I say this, you're going to know exactly

what I mean. Smart people sometimes are so damn smart that they will come up with reasons why something won't work.

And they'll believe it because we're smart. So of course, our thoughts are real.

Like we think our thoughts are fact. Not that, you know, obviously thoughts are real.

You're having them. But like, they're truth. Of course they're truth. I'm thinking it and and i'm smart so of course my thought is fact and i cannot tell you how many times i run into this where when you look at and i don't mean this with any disrespect whatsoever but sometimes the most successful you're like really this person is successful, you're like, really?
