Well, hey everybody and welcome to episode 122 of the podcast.

My name is Carrie Newhoff and I hope our time together today helps you lead like never before.

Man, I've been excited about this episode for a long time.

Actually you can trace this back to around the time when we

launched this podcast. It was a summer of 2014. I was on a long flight and I picked up a

book that I had heard good buzz about. It was a new release called

Essentialism by Greg McEwen. Essentialism really rocked my world. I mean I read it

it was a seven hour flight. I read it on the flight. I thought man I'm going to make some more changes I think I was like

60 to 70 percent on my way to being an essentialist by the time I had picked up the book and hopefully I'm like 90% of the way there now.

I mean it was just it was one of the best books on how to manage all the competing demands of life and

leadership I've ever read.

And I thought, wouldn't it be great one day

to interview Greg McEwen?

Well, here we are.

Fast forward a couple of years,

and Greg is my guest on the podcast.
