There were so many articles on the importance of remaining calm and

cultivating qualities that will help you to stay calm in a stressful situation.

And each article mentioned calming your breath. It was usually

mentioned as one of the first or second ways to instantly calm yourself.

That is because there's so much evidence that how you use your breath helps

you to maintain a sense of peace and a sense of control.
