Before we dive in, I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who joined me for the beginner's crystal class.

I had so much fun seeing all of you and getting to talk about crystals. In fact, I think I talked a little too much.

We went over about an hour and a half beyond time. But I got to share my favorite stones, see some of yours and meet new faces, so it was just a really lovely time.

And I want to thank everyone who joined me. Okay, so in this hour, I want to share with you guys something I've been researching.

Last week, I received a lot of email readings from people who are all expressing something similar.

One woman wrote to tell me she thinks she's cursed because everything in her life has always gone wrong.

Another gentleman wrote and said, I have no friends. No one at work seems to like me. My neighbors don't talk to me anymore after I had a dispute with a family in the neighborhood over a minor fender bender.

I just feel like I'm destined to be alone. And another person said, nothing I do seems to work out. I keep trying and trying and hoping. But in the end, it all comes to nothing.

I knew when I was reading these emails that they weren't cursed or doomed to be alone, it was that their thinking process had gotten stuck on the negative.

And I think we've all been there at some point in our life. So I talked to my guides and I prayed about it for several days.

I wanted to be able to tell them that they had control over these situations. But I wasn't sure how to put it into words that would make sense or would convince them that their life really is in their hands, that they truly are co-creators.

I was looking for something concrete, some evidence to share with them, that if they can change their subconscious programming, their difficulties will truly subside.

Then I came across an article somehow on the internet that talked about the science behind the law of attraction. And suddenly I knew I had my answer.

This is an informative, scientifically-backed way to tell all these lovely people that their lives don't have to feel this way anymore.

So I got so inspired I figured I would share this with you all too, because I think it's kind of life-changing information.

What I learned is that we have this bundle of nerves at the base of our school. It's called the Recticular Activating System, or RAS for short.

I'm just going to call it RAS throughout this show. It has several functions, but the one we're going to focus on today is its ability to filter out data.

The Recticular Activating System acts as a gatekeeper or a bouncer at a loud, crowded noisy bar.

It decides what information gets into your brain in subconscious and what information events and experiences are kept out.

Your RAS, or Recticular Activating System, is basically a filter. It will filter out what you want to or expect to see.

Think of a time when you were in a crowded room and you still somehow managed to hear your name being called.
