Christianity, he shows how the same tools of investigating evidence can show that

the gospels are trustworthy accounts. Jim tells how the evidence moved him from

atheism to Christianity and he debates with two skeptical callers about

differing timelines in the gospels and corroboration. So let's see how they get on.

The really exciting show for you today as we look at the detective and the

gospels asking is there enough evidence to make the case for Christianity?

My guest today is Jay Warner Wallace. He's a homicide detective from

California and his new book, Cold Case Christianity, shows how you can use the

same techniques of assessing evidence that he has used in his career to

investigate cold case Christianity or whether the gospels and what they say

about Jesus can be believed. And we're going to be having Jay Warner Wallace, Jim, to

give him his short name in conversation with a couple of skeptics today who are

going to be joining us by phone as we look at whether we can trust the

timeline of Jesus' ministry across the four gospels and also whether there's

enough evidence beyond the gospels to make its testimony reliable. So really

looking at the evidence for the gospels through the eyes of a homicide detective
