Hey friends, this summer we wanted to do something really special and give you a behind-the-scenes look at some of our classic episodes.

But before we do that, we have a quick announcement. We're planning a conference called Gather.

There will be this September 15th and 16th in Pro-Yutah, and the event is being performed by a coalition of people that exist in the LGBTQIresane space.

Yeah, it's going to be Christ-centered and church-positive, and it will also be really expansive, including people on a variety of paths.

So some of the speakers we have planned are Steve Young, Tom Christopherson, Liv Mendoza Haynes, Megan Decker, Jesse Wilson, Michael Soto, Allison Dayton, Ben Shalatti, and Charlie Bird.

Okay, so today we're going to talk about season one, episode 45. Why do you stay in the church? And this one was just me and you Ben.

We did not have a guest.

Nope, maybe the Holy Ghost was there.

I hope so.

But episode 45, our first season was so long.

Yeah, it was.

And I always say that we should do different seasons, and I'm like, fast, let's just keep going. We don't need to stop.

I'm glad we started doing different seasons.

Also, we had a lot more time back then, because that year was still a really COVID-influenced year.

You definitely.

And so we were like, sure, I'm free.

I never had, I wasn't cheering at games or anything.

I feel like we're a lot more.

That's true.

Life was a lot simpler back then.
