Hey friends, this summer we wanted to do something really special and give you a behind-the-scenes look at some of our classic episodes.

But before we do that, we have a quick announcement. We're planning a conference called Gather.

There will be this September 15th and 16th in Pro-Yutah, and the event is being performed by a coalition of people that exist in the LGBTQIresane space.

Yeah, it's going to be Christ-centered and church-positive, and it will also be really expansive, including people on a variety of paths.

So some of the speakers we have planned are Steve Young, Tom Christopherson, Liv Mendoza Haynes, Megan Decker, Jesse Wilson, Michael Soto, Allison Dayton, Ben Shalatti, and Charlie Bird.

So today we're talking about season two, episode two, with David Butler. Am I being deceived?

You know, I think that's how I started the first one.

I think that's one of the great points of the episodes. You never really know if you're being deceived.

Like if you're being deceived, of course you don't know if you're being deceived.

And just that reality of, we could be tricked all along, we wouldn't know.

Just means it's important to check it.

Wait a minute, wait a minute, I don't inspire the people.

You're being tricked, and you have no idea.

I think this episode was so cool because we really got to the nitty-gritty and like all three of us,

David Butler is so smart and he's so educated, he's so knowledgeable about the scriptures.

And it was so fun to have him there.

And the three of us were like having a conversation where we're like unpacking things and figuring things out.

And it was really cool to have that recorded in real time.

I think it's one of my favorite episodes because of the grittiness of just recording three people trying to figure it out.
