So hey friend, over the years, I have made a lot of Christmas and wintertime videos about the

tutors, about how they marked the season, what they ate, what they sang, and what Christmas

felt like in England 500 years ago. And this video is going to bring all of that together

in one place you can settle in and listen without hopping around on the channel. So it is Christmas

Eve and I'm doing what most people are doing today, stepping away from the desk and spending

time with family. So instead of doing something new, I've decided to gather all of these

Christmas videos together in one place. If you've been around for a while, some of this will be familiar.

You may have seen it before. If you're newer here, it's a good way to go back and dip into how

the tutors experienced the season themselves. These are stories I tend to return to every December,

how Christmas was celebrated, how long it lasted, what people ate, all of that. You don't need to listen

straight through, of course. Let it play while you cook or decorate or travel or sit quietly by the

fire. I will be back with new videos again very soon. I hope this keeps you good company on

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and I wish you a very, very happy Christmas.
