Hinduism versus Christianity. Ten differences. Hinduism with over 1.1 billion followers is

mostly found in India, where nearly 80% of the population identifies as Hindu. Often it's called the world's oldest religion.

The claim to this title is not straightforward

as other ancient religions like Judaism

also boast its deep historical roots.

It's essential though to recognize that Hinduism is not singular, unified religion.

Rather it's more complex combination of numerous traditions and beliefs

with some common philosophical and spiritual themes that overlap.

In recent years certain philosophical ideas from Hinduism have gained a lot of

considerable popularity in the West and these concepts might often appear due to

their mystical inclusive nature promising spiritual insight harmony with the

universe but we as Christians must be mindful of spiritual warnings.

The Bible clearly states that in the last days people will turn from sound doctrine

and they will embrace deceptive teachings instead.

1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 1 says clearly,

Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart

from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. With this biblical context in

mind, let's examine seven philosophical ideas of Hinduism that the West most often falls for.
