Have you ever walked into a church and felt that something was just off? You couldn't explain it.

The worship is loud, the building is full, and all the posts are polished, but the fear and the control,'s something just off and it's you feel it in the atmosphere and people whispers that are praying

leaders walk on eggshells and truth of God gets managed and sanitized and this

correction that people give there is toxic so I'm gonna ask you some questions

today that will make some of you uncomfortable.

And that is, is Jezebel pastoring that church?

And no, I don't mean a literal person pastor whose name is Jezebel. I'm actually talking about a spirit of manipulation, spirit of control, spirit of intimidation, and counterfeit authority

that Jesus himself confronted in the book of Revelation.

Before we go any further, this is not a message for you to label your pastor

Jezebel just because you're offended at him, nor is this to be used for gossip or bring division.

This is to bring the sermon, deliverance, and I believe restore purity in the house of God.

I'm going to share with you three signs that a Jezebel spirit is running the church.

And then I'm going to give you some practical as well as biblical response on what you can do about it.

Now we see this in the Bible, Book of Revelation chapter 2,

that you tolerate a woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. Notice she calls herself something.

She is a self-appointed authority. This is the issue for the church that tolerates it,

meaning there are other leaders who are allowing this and they are afraid to confront it.

Jezebel in the scripture is tied to control, manipulation, seduction, intimidation, and also killing prophetic voices.

It is a spirit that hates accountability and fears truth being confronted.
