this day, the blessing of life. Father, we thank you not only for creating us out of nothing

and calling us into being,

but for calling us to live at this time, in this culture, in these days.

Father, I pray for all of us and all of our brothers who can't be with us tonight,

that you would bring a spirit of refreshment to us.

Lord, I ask you in a special way that you would just fill us with a sense of encouragement and strength.

Father, may your spirit flow through us.

May we remember that we are never alone.
