Everyone else, what's up? I hope this moment is finding you reasonably well.

I want to say thank you to all of you who reached out last week. I got a big bunch of emails from listeners with the most

kind and supportive sentiments. I can't tell you how much it means to me that you would do that,

that there's people listening to this who care and would show that kind of support.

It was really lovely, thank you.

And I am happy to report that we ended up having a really good trip to go see my mother-in-law.

If you weren't here last week, my mother-in-law is dying of a brain tumor and there was some

increased urgency because she was having a lot of seizures and often not in a place where she can

be present with people or speak to people and we were concerned that we might not have much more

time to be with her when she can so we made an unexpected trip there and i think that she she rallied

because we came and we got a good day and a half where my daughters got to be with her and

she was very much herself and it was really beautiful and I personally got to have a one-to-one

moment with her that was very special and then after my daughters and I came back, my wife stayed and she got another couple

days with her that were very special. She did take another turn in the other direction.

Those of you who have dealt with this kind of thing before probably already know this,

I hadn't really been aware of this kind of phenomenon where someone has this kind of thing before probably already know this. I hadn't really been aware of

this kind of phenomenon where someone has this kind of terminal illness where it's not linear.

It seems like they're on their way to passing and then they'll have this like rally where
