And regular listeners know that part of the process of me doing this weekly podcast for more than the last

10 years is that it happens in the context of my life and I've always utilized these intros and

I do as a way of working through stuff

and just keeping my sanity around things that have happened.

And for people who have listened, you all have really been through stuff with me.

And truth is, right now in this moment,

my household is in triage mode.

If you've been around, you know that my mother-in-law was given a terminal cancer diagnosis

about four or five months ago or something like that at this point.

I can't really remember.

But they have been pursuing some treatment options that were supposed to shrink the tumor and give her

some more time, but those treatments haven't really worked.

And they've switched from treatment to hospice care.

My wife's been there all week, and the declines happening pretty quickly.

So there's a sense of urgency and both my mother-in-law, Ida and my wife want us to come.

So we were supposed to come at the end of the month. We had a scheduled visit,

but there's new urgency. So we're leaving tomorrow. And tomorrow's the day that normally I would
