Today's guest is the iconic Chip Conley.

I'm going to actually read parts of his bio because he's done so much in his life.

It's a bit hard to capture it all.

Here we go.

Rebel hospitality entrepreneur and New York Times bestselling author with five books published so far, Chip disrupted his

favorite industry. At age 26, with confidence from his education at Stanford University,

and his entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Joie de Viva Hospitality, transforming an inner-city motel into the second largest

boutique hotel brand in the country. He sold it after running it as a CEO for 24 years, and

soon after that, had a life-changing health and near-death experience, which, of course, had a big impact on him.

Next, the young founders of Airbnb asked him to help transform their then-start-up into a leading

hospitality brand. Chip served as their head of global hospitality and strategy for four years.

He still advises them. Next, in his early

50s, he went on to found the modern Elder Academy, where he and his team have developed a new

roadmap for midlife that helps find purpose and meaning in everything we do. It's offered at a beautiful
