The National Football League is looking at changing the rules about onside

kicks. They are opening up a possibility of there being a new rule and we are going to talk about that here in just a moment.

So what they are looking at is they are looking at possibly

putting themselves in a situation where

you have the ability to decide if you want to do an onside kick.

I think that's under advisement right now with the NFL

is that you could still do an onside kick if you would rather do it.

Or you have the option of getting the ball on your own 25 yard line with a fourth and 15.

I really like this rule change. I really like this thought process that you could actually go into a situation and

instead of having an on-side kick you would be in a

situation where you would get a fourth and 15 from your own 25 yard line.

If you get a first down, you get a keep on going like everything's normal in football.

If you don't get a first down at that point you turn the ball over and the other team has it on your

own 25-yard line. To me I think this makes it more exciting at the end of games.

Now the thing is, and here is a couple of the catches,

you can only do it twice during a game.

You can't do this, trying to do it every single play and trying to be in a situation

where you can just play keep away from the other team. I really like this opportunity
