Both Andy Reed and Patrick Mahomes have a little bit of a differing opinion

when it comes to the new possible changes to the onside

kick rule in the NFL that is still not determined yet. This is your Kansas City

Chiefs Google News story of the day. I am Chris Clark from Chief's Digest. Andy Reed is of the opinion that he

kind of wants to leave things the way that they are when it comes to onside kicks and the NFL.

He looks at it and says this has been good for the league for as many years as it's been going on

so let's leave it the way it is at this point I'm not exactly sure if it's going to pass or not we do not have the information on that

it is still being talked about but Patrick Mahomes is definitely interested in this

possibility fourth and fifteen is never really a concern for him or the chiefs when he is their quarterback.

I could see this and I have talked about this already.

I could see this really benefiting Kansas City when you have a quarterback like Mahomes who's able to do

what he was able to do last year, especially in tougher situations, I definitely

think that this could be something that is going to benefit the team. You start looking at other things that are going on in the

NFL. Patrick Mahomes actually gave a commencement speech to Texas Tech to the people that were

graduating from Texas Tech from his house.

It was only about a minute and a half, but his main message was,

Go live your own Super Bowl.

Go figure out what it is that you're going to chase. Go do what you need to do and he's

still a very proud Texas Tech alum that is not surprising. I am enjoying seeing him getting more and more of the spotlight than he has had in previous seasons.

I think that that's going to benefit Kansas City, especially in the short term.
