And we began last week by looking at a basic construct

that life really is built on moments that shape all the minutes in our life.

That inside of defining moments, inside of divine moments, what unlocks that moment are the choices we make, that choosing is the most spiritual act a human being ever engages in.

It all begins here. You have to choose to love.

And whether you believe in God or not,

whether you consider yourself a spiritual person or not,

you actually are a sacred being.

Because the power to choose is the power to create.

And the power to create is a reflection of the image of God in you.

But I think all of us struggled with even the chasm between who we sense we should be and who we know we are.

And in our own spiritual journeys, I think sometimes it's just so frustrating

going, God, I can't seem to actualize the life you promised me all have. There are some of you, you've done everything you know how to do to make

your life an altar and you cannot figure out why things haven't come together and I

think a huge part of that is because so much of our language of faith is actually superstition.
