The Lakers kicking off preseason action day after tomorrow. It's almost here Friday night. we have to start, but the injury update is what we have to get into coming out of yesterday's

first day of training camp, some really important updates from JJ Reddick, particularly about

how the Lakers are going to manage LeBron James. But then we also got stylistically a little

bit of a peek into what the Lakers are going to change about the way they're going to play this year compared to last year.

So second segment of the show, I want to get into that.

What we've learned about a change the Lakers are making, why they're making it, and what kind of an impact that's going to make out on the floor. And then for the third segment, I want to get into some questions coming in from our channel members. After practice, was talking about the injury front for the Lakers and gave us some really important updates.

It's not just LeBron, unfortunately, multiple players already dealing with some injuries.

So here we go.

Probably a little bit longer of a ramp up leading into opening night for him.

Just obviously in year 23, uncharted territory here.

So I felt and you're talking with performance and talking with Mike and LeBron,

like he probably did too much last year in camp, which was great for me as a first year

head coach to get to get buy in from him.

But it'll be a slower process with him leading into the first game.

You know, he's obviously got 22 years so far of wear and tear on the body,

and he's dealing with a little bit of nerve irritation in the glute.

So just we're playing the long game with LeBron.
