for a lot of reason don't traditionally vote.

Mostly because the government has a made it very difficult and gotten out of their way to tell those people that their road doesn't matter.

I've come to just see so deeply how important it is that the people who've experienced the inequities we're working to address are guiding and leading the work.

And, you know, I think this whole approach is rooted in the idea that we need a diverse and inclusive group of people leading, you know, from inside and outside of education,

to gather to affect the changes necessary to ensure all kids will fulfill their potential.

Jampec episode, you know, when people think about non-violence, they often think that that means that we are just quiet, that you just let things happen to you.

They remember that non-violence is a mean that we don't challenge and confront systems and structures.

It means that we choose a different way to go about it.

You can be confrontational in a host of ways. You should challenge systems and structures in a host of ways.

That is not at odds with any commitment you might have to be non-violent.

So when I think about this week, it's about how are you challenging systems of oppression? How are you confronting thoughts and ideas that do real damage in people's lives?

Remember, not at odds with your commitment to non-violence. Let's go.
