I'm excited that Brett Clinton and Sam are back for the news in 2018.

We also are joined today by Congressman Crowley who represents New York City and who is the

chair of the Democratic Caucus.

It has, you know, real life consequences, you know, when the president tweets out that

he thinks that people should have work requirements before they be eligible for Medicaid.

You know, I question myself, does the president work enough to be eligible for the benefits

that he receives at this point?

That's what we got talked about having a plan and having a plan is about setting goals,

about mapping out how you can reach those goals and ultimately about putting yourself in

a position so that you're more likely to be where you need to be, where the magic happens,

when luck hits, when opportunities arise because you've already thought about where you're

headed.

Today, I want to talk about intention and intention is about saying, why am I doing what I'm

doing?

What I found over the past few years is that a lot of people who think that they're doing

really altruistic and morally courageous work, but they've never asked themselves, like,

why did I go in the street?

Why did I stand for that issue?

Why was I silent when I thought that I would have spoken up about that thing?

Why do I care about these issues?

And the reason that you examine your intentions is to make sure that you're operating from
