Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome. I'm Karen Hunter and my birthday is this month. And it is a big

birthday. I'm actually at the halfway mark. I have been talking about being here 120 years since

since I can remember. I think I've read it somewhere in the Bible that that's the number of years

promised. But I have really contemplated what 120 years should look like. And for me,

you know, I think about the vampires. I actually love all the vampire

movies, the interview with the vampire vampire, vampire diaries. I don't think I like the older ones,

but the new version of the vampires that, you know, Twilight, you know, it really has me contemplating

more than the blood sucking and all of that is the years spent on earth

and what it means. I think Charlize Theron is in a movie called the, not called the Immortals,

but she plays an immortal being in their group of immortals that, but they can die,

but she has been on earth like a thousand years. And I do think about that

from this standpoint, the amount of things you can learn over that length of time and then the

knowledge, the institutional knowledge that you will be able to gather and disseminate. I think

that's how I really live my life.

I think about it in terms of like how much can I know and learn and then teach. And if you live

your life with that as the goal as opposed to seeking pleasure or gaining riches, but that this is a life to be lived, to learn as

much as you can, to share as much as you can, to grow as much as you can, then it makes every

day getting up so much more powerful and meaningful. I think a lot of people are super lonely and super unhappy because they

haven't figured out what it is that they were put here to do. And it's not even the figuring out

what you would put here to do as much as the pursuit of that. It's okay to not know. It's okay to

not know exactly why you're here. But every day should be a pursuit of that.

Otherwise, why are you living?
