Summary

Every action has a consequence. Intended or not - everything you do has a result, and a lot of your reactions and responses are habits. But even knowing that doesn’t necessarily help us change! Of course this is also true in the mind. The more we can sit with the mind, the more we can make a change. Learn more about your ad choices. 2:00.3

2:07.1

causes us pain or hurt. And when it comes to cause and effect we might understand it

2:14.8

intellectually. But we don't always live it as an experience. So for example we might

2:23.0

know that say drinking coffee right before we go to bed will probably keep us awake.

2:30.0

But we still repeat the act. Perhaps even often. Or maybe we're routinely rude or off-hand

2:36.9

to one particular person only to be surprised that they're not terribly friendly in return.
