Hey everybody, I'm excited to be recording the 16th episode of the All Things Fishing podcast this week. This week I'm finishing off the second three-part series I'm doing called Catfishing Basics.

So this is Catfishing Basics Part 3.

The last two weeks have been finding a spot to catfish.

And I think the one before that was catfishing gear.

So this episode is going to be about catfishing bait.

So first up, before I start the show, there's really just want to get this out of the way.

Any bait will work well for of the way any bait will

livers a very good bait I'll talk more about those later I'll talk where you can find them

but just before I start the show any bait will work well for catfish so like I said

anybody will work well for catfish but some will work better than others so some of the

ones that work really well are chicken liver cheese worms and something I've never used before

and I don't see how it work but I've heard it does work work, is like a sponge, like speared through a treble hook, and the sponge has been soaked in like, either homemade scent or store balance scent or something like that.

Like, a tractant, catfishing attract and stuff like that. I've never used it. I don't see, I mean, I do see how it would work. I'm probably never going to use it.

I just, I really just like bait a lot better.

So those are some of the things that I would use for catfishing.

Hot dogs do work okay for catfish.

They're probably in between my two lists.

But next up is the list of bait that will still catch catfish,
