I'm excited to be recording the 14th episode of the All Things Fishing podcast this week.

This week, before I start the show, I was reading through the reviews a few days ago,

and I came across one about a guy asking me if I could do an episode on ice fishing.

If you're out there listening to this, I am the worst person to ask anything, any sort of

question about ice fishing. I sadly know nothing about it. I've been trying to read more

about it. I've never been ice fishing. Really, that's only because I've, the bodies of water that I fish never freeze over.

Like the ponds and the lakes and rivers that I fish never freeze over.

Like the most has been like 16th of an inch around the edges,

and the only thing about ice fishing I know is that you want at least two inches.

So, like I said, I wish I could do an episode on ice fishing.

Sounds fun.

I guess fun to cold.

So this episode is going to start off another three-part series I'm doing called Catfishing Basics.

So Catfishing Basics is going to have the most important episode, which is going to be this episode, and it's catfishing gear.

Then it's going to be the best catfishing bait, then choosing a spot to catfish.

So like I said, this episode is probably going to be the most important, probably going to help you guys the most, so I'll get right into it.

So on your rod, you're going to want a medium fast to fast, and a medium heavy to heavy.
