I am Brian Mhouser and got a fun show for you on a Sunday morning.

A good friend, our good pal, Rob Staten, was able to join us today for at least a little while and catch up on the Seahawks draft.

Rob, first of all, how are you doing today?

Really good, Brian. Yeah, good to be here and can't believe it's already been a week since the draft.

I know.

Quickly.

This has got to be a kind of a crazy time of year for you.

All the work that you do, I mean,

there aren't many people that probably do more work on the draft outside of NFL front offices

than you, especially specifically on the Seahawks. Tell me, you know, your thoughts. How did you

feel as that draft kind of unfolded for the team? Well, I love the draft.

I thought they did a really good job.

I think there's a few of us online that have talked about the need for this kind of a draft

that makes you feel as if you are not just adding players, good players to a decent group,

but that you're adding players that maybe could elevate this group to a new level.

And obviously, there are things that we need to find out, like what Sam Darnold going to be

like, and how is the offensive line going to come together with the new staff?

And there are various things like that.

But I do think that the players that they took give them a chance to take the next step now.
