In our previous episode, which was an update,

Josh gave us a little bit of a review from Josh's library corner

of the book, Murderland. And we kind of flippantly said, oh, it'd be really great to be able to

interview the author, Caroline Fraser. Well, Josh did just that, didn't you, Josh? We kind of casually

spoke about it, and then you reached out to her

representation or whoever and within 20 minutes our interview was booked. We had her on the line.

And I don't know if it was the Pacific Northwest of it all, but boy, that was an easy process

and I couldn't believe it happened and you won't believe how good it is. It is so great and

Josh would never tell you this so I will. He spent so much time prepping and took it so

seriously and treated it with such professionalism and was like, oh my God, I'm going to be speaking

to a Pulitzer Prize winner. It was very exciting. So he did a ton of backwork. So unexpectedly, we get to have a Josh episode. So what we're going to hear now is his interview with Caroline Fraser about her book, Murderland, about the Pacific Northwest. You guys talked about all sorts of things. Very generous with her time. We talked for about 90 minutes. She seemed very charming. I love talking to her. It was great. I'd love to talk to her again. I wish that her and I had built up a rapport and we're now best friends. I have questions about writing and stuff. This is also a great opportunity for people to hear from her because she has done only a couple

podcasts, one of which was Joe Rogan.
