I want to be like Georgia O'Kee. Casey, people in the western part of our state are up in arms. Yeah, what's this all about, Rob? This is fascinating. This is why. It's the new wild and wacky world, the new frontier of carbon sequestration. I have no idea what that is. And nor do most of the people unless you live in the western part of the state because it now appears to be coming to them. And luckily, we got a guy. We got a guy. And he's actually kind of known on this program. He's a character. He's the most beautiful man on all of Terre Haute television. Of course he is. You've heard him mention me mentioned him before. And the people in the greater Terre Haute area are beside themselves because of this carbon sequestration issue.

So you did a big expoise on this.

People in the western part of the state are totally up in arms.

First of all, tell us what carbon sequestration is.

So carbon sequestration is kind of this new age way of dealing with greenhouse gas emissions.

Essentially the carbon that runs off during industrial processes.

Companies who want to participate in carbon sequestration will pump it and force it below the ground

to store it.

That way it's not released into the atmosphere.

And it's kind of stored in these big rock

formations. They're called pores. You could think of them as like caves essentially and they're,

you know, deep below the surface of the ground. Okay. All right. Stop there because the people,

this is going on. You obviously cover Terre Haute Western part of the state,

but the people out there are upset because they are saying, we don't know what the ramifications

to the environment that we live in are going to be, correct?

Yeah, so the big issue with the concerned citizen group that I've been following a little bit here,

and this is an area that involves parts of Vigo and Vermilion counties, which is going to be the

area, like you mentioned, that would be impacted by these sequestration sites.
