I welcome my colleague, Conrad Black, distinguished biographer, writing this National

Post column about the recently concluded combat between Israel and Iran, between the U.S.

and Iran, now in a ceasefire.

The news is that it is confirmed that the Prime Minister of Israel, Bibi Netanyahu,

will be traveling to Washington in days to meet with the President of the United States

to discuss what comes next, not only with Iran, but also with Hamas and Gaza and Hizbalah,

and the whole of the Middle East now at odds waiting for the Tehran regime to respond to

negotiation positively. However, Conrad, a very good evening to you.

The success of Donald Trump and Bibi Netanyahu is something that is not getting a great

deal of attention.

It's worth noting that the president's decision to use the B2, at this point, my information

is that the Ayatollah is living below ground, always moving his

location every night, not attending religious ceremonies that are critical to his regime.

In addition, he's moving his son around as well, who is the named heir apparent.

It would appear that the enemy is on the run. How do you interpret the events of

these last week, Conrad? Is Iran defeated or have they got another punch? Good evening to you.

Yeah, good evening to you, John. No, I think they are definitively defeated. A trillion dollars

invested in their nuclear program has gone up in smoke. They've

impoverished the country comparatively for decades, making sacrifices to pursue this nuclear program.

They have nothing to show for it, no. And if the Ayatollah thinks that he can name his son, you know, the way the regime does in North Korea,
