My name is Taylor Rockwell.

And Tuesday means it's MLS chat to be had and a lot of Canada chat to be had on this episode today.

Joining me to do so are two fine fellows up first.

A man who we've decided has speaking timeout power when it comes to global soccer.

So Joe Lowry, I'm excited to hear if anybody in Major League Soccer needs to be on a speaking timeout.

Ooh, I mean, maybe the answer for Major League Soccer is that Leo Messi should be in a speaking timeout as far as his complaints about not roster rules but actual on-of rules. I am team MLS on that one. So I'm tempted to use my power towards Leo. I like that you're tempted, Joe, but you're a benevolent dictator and that you haven't fully used it yet. You'll hear, you'll hear from both sides before you make that decision. You're very good in that way. Well, and mostly I just don't want to anger the greatest soccer player of all time. Just in case.

Like I don't think that's going to be a real problem. Messy doesn't know who I am and he never will. But, you know, just in case, Taylor, just in case. Now you sound like both an MLS executive and an Apple executive. Rounding out the crew today in bittersweet fashion is David Goss. David, thank you for being here.

I'd like to start by saying good day, mate, to all my Canadian brother and sister and who are listening because of our Jesse Marsh coverage coming up.

And yes, this will be my last permanent fixture, I think, total soccer show.

I'm sure we will all talk soccer many, many times for years to come. I am hoping to work on some

new projects. I'm trying to get my head around some new stuff. And so you've been kind enough to have me.

It's been a highlight for a year plus now for me doing this show. Once a week,

it's kept me going and kept me caring about things that Messi doesn't care about for the last

few weeks and months especially. And I'm excited to dig into it this last time by bringing

my Canadian flair to the show. Do you want to talk much more about what you are leaning towards doing,

or is that all being kept under wraps? I am still unsure, so there's nothing under wraps,

but I want to talk about MLS and American soccer and Canadian soccer and NWSL and everything

else that's going on in this region more and more. So I'm trying to put a cohesive plan together for me to sort of build something

myself.
