Summary

Madisyn Bowman was 6 years old when she and her family went on Bert’s Big Adventure back in 2011. The now 18 year old and her family have been extremely active with all Bert’s Big Adventure programs ever since. The family was on the way to Bert’s Big Adventure’s Summer Reunion Adventure when they received the call. Their dryer had caught fire and rendered the entire house uninhabitable for several months due to the damage. The fire destroyed new school supplies, birthday gifts, necessary medical equipment, all of their clothing, bedding, shoes, toiletries, furniture, food, and more. 0:45.3	It was very easy for me to come on the Burt show and just say, hey, here's what one of our

0:51.7	And they were in a desperate, desperate time.
0:53.9	And it was one of the most inspiring weeks, I think, that I have ever spent in radio.
1:00.2	Because at the end of a week of doing fundraising for our Burt's Big Adventure family back then,
1:05.2	I think we had a quarter of a million dollars.
1:06.7	It was Kristen's first day on the show.
1:08.2	Yeah, my first day packed studio with Mr. Stark and some of his family and they were in
1:14.7	a dire situation and the Burt show community stepped up huge to help this family out.
