something I experienced recently. I had a cervical smear, which in the past has never really caused

me any discomfort. But this time, it was painful. It could have been the

technique of the person doing it, of course, but I did also wonder whether the fact that I'm now

postmenopausal had something to do with the discomfort. I don't know, so changes in the cervix, for

example. I'm on HRT. I have a marina coil and I also use estrogel.
