One of the most frequently asked questions by sincere people is can a saved person lose their salvation?

And while I understand the question, and many years ago had to grapple with that myself,

really it's the wrong question.

Did you know that sometimes you have a hard time getting to the right answer if you're

asking the wrong question?

The question itself is rooted in the human being.

Instead, our question must be rooted in the character and nature of our God.

The real question is this, is God's work enough?

Is eternal life really eternal?

Is the Lord's salvation sufficient?

You see, one of the things that I've observed through the years related to this subject

is that all of the questions surrounding losing your salvation are really centered in us,

but all the assurance is centered in him.

We ask, can a saved man be lost?

But we should ask, was that lost man ever saved?

Because if that lost man was truly saved, then the issue is not on the man, not on the strength of his faith or the goodness of his character,

but rather on the work of God in his heart and in his life.

To answer the question today, I want to bring you to Hebrews chapter number six.

And that's interesting because Hebrews 6 is one of the most debated
