Chapter 4. And I want to continue what I've been talking on. And I really want to get over to a different

place this morning. I'm not going to promise you I will, but I'm going to try and say some things

rather quickly. And let me say that I've got

teaching entitled effortless change that covers this teaching. I've got another teaching

that's entitled Foundation. Well, anybody know what that's called? It has something to do with

foundations. A sure foundation. There you go. Thank you very much. I don't usually name my

teachings. My staff does. I just teach. I don't put names on them. So anyway, effortless change,

a sure foundation. I'm sure there's a lot of other things that will cover these parables. And so if the Lord's ministering to you,

and if you want more ministry on that, I've got a lot more ministry on this. But we've been in Mark

Chapter 4 talking about the sower sowing the seed. The seed is the word of God. It fell upon four

different types of ground. We covered two last night talking about the person

who just never understood the word. Their heart was hardened and it never penetrated this hard

heart. And so Satan just had access to steal it away. The second type of person was a person

who was excited about the word and even received it with gladness, but they were

impatient. They didn't take time to get rooted. Boy, what Rick was saying today about

preparation just fit perfectly with all of this. It was really good. And this is one of the things

that there's a lot of people that God touches, but they never see

the fruit that God wants to produce in their life because they don't take time to get prepared.

They don't let the word take root on the inside of them.
