Let's turn back here to Mark chapter 4 where I was teaching from today.

And in Mark chapter 4, this parable of the sower sawing the seed, I wish to have time to go back

and say everything I said today over again because it was powerful.

But hopefully you were retained that.

Let me just point out some other things that this seed was just scattered.

It was thrown and it landed on four different types of ground.

And it says in Mark 414 that the sowers sowes the word. So this isn't

really about farming. This is about the word of God being compared to a seed and the word of God landed

on four different types of ground. And this is actually talking about four different types of people's

hearts. And the scripture says in 1 Peter

chapter 1, verse 23, being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed by the

word of God that lives and abides forever. The word of God is called a seed. And we talked about

that this morning. That is a very

appropriate description of the word of God. And it's an incorruptible seed. The word of God never fails.

Some people will say, well, I tried that and it didn't work for me. And I've had people come up and say,

well, I know that the word worked for you, but it doesn't work for me.

No, the word is incorruptible. There is no difference. The seed has the exact same potential in

any person's life. The seed is never the variable. It's the ground that's the variable.

The seed is incorruptible. And the only reason that the word works differently for different people is not because of the word, but because of the way that
