Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome.

And while in this space I'm doing a podcast, which is part of new material, part archiving material and conversations that I've had in the past.

But it's really intentional here

that I want to have discussions. So we are doing these podcasts with the hopes that you're listening

and then sharing them and then maybe they're sparking dialogue among you and your friends

and family members. And hopefully together, this is how we get to a point where we can be a part of something greater

than ourselves and I get to sit on the radio live radio broadcast on serious XM Monday through

Friday and we get callers in every day so I'm on 3 to 6 p.m. 3 hours you know we're going to have

a lot of topics thrown out. A lot of people call

in. And I got the greatest joy recently when a 15-year-old called the show,

because not just because the 15-year-old called the show and you'll hear the call and you'll hear

the exchange and you'll hear why I loved it, but because people are listening of all ages.

They're listening in cars with their family members.

And this discussion is happening in real time, whether they call or not.

Because I would say 95% of people never call a radio show.

So I don't even know the conversations that are happening, the conversations that are happening.

But I know they're happening.

And that is important to me. So up next, call them the day. Laura, 15 years old from Virginia,
