It is no secret around these parts that earlier this year, way back in February, which seems like 10 million years ago,

I released my first book, title Share Your Stuff, I'll my first book title Share Your Stuff I'll Go First. Ten questions to take

your friendship to the next level. Now that book was an extension of this podcast.

It was all very much meant to go hand in hand. So if you like

this show I think you will love the book. If you found the book first I hope that

ten things to tell you has proven to be a good

supplement but guess what's next I know that you're not shocked I am writing a

second book I know it's all very exciting and my second book while I cannot

tell you too many details it will be a companion of sorts to share your stuff, I'll go first.

Except instead of focusing on the sharing piece in order to build connection,

I will be focusing on the friendship piece.

There are so many aspects of friendship that come up on this show and on social media

all the time, the joy that friendship brings to our lives, of course, but also the

angst of a fading friendship, the loneliness of never knowing the type of friendships we see in the movies or on TV,

the fact that friendship can carry us through the hardest parts of our lives,

sometimes even more than family or partnerships do, and also just

navigating friendship in this modern world of so much digital communication and

a changing world landscape. So I can't say that I'm

going to tackle every single angle of adult friendship in my new book. That would be

impossible, but I also know that I cannot

fill the entire book with only my friendship stories and opinions.
