Right now we're discussing a good fellow, the governor of

California, who has a podcast. Have you heard? Everybody's heard. A podcast. What does it mean? Bill,

a very good evening to you. Gavin Newsom is campaigning for higher office, and he chooses a podcast.

It's trendy, and you write a very careful analysis of it. I've read

here on the East Coast, especially from the New York Times, that Gavin Newsom has lost his mind.

I think they went that far. Maybe they mean that he lost the trail. What's happened, Bill?

I think if beauty is in the eye of the holder, I think publications like the New York Times have definite ideas of what they want a 2028 hopeful to be doing.

And in this case, it's not Governor Newsome going on podcast and kind of suggesting he's changing his opinions on things.

Before we go much further, let's clarify, they're not one but two Gavin Newsom podcast here.

There's one called Politican, that is the governor and a sports agent and a former football player,

Marshaun Lynch, talking about the great issues of the times.

But now is this new podcast and it's called,

This is Gavin Newsom. And so far it's featured, who, it's featured conservative activists,

rabble-rouses, if you will, and the governor in conversation with them. The idea is that

Newsom is going to have civil conversations and gee can't we all get along. But what he's very

cleverly done, I think, and yes, I'm being very cynical but what he's very cleverly done i think and yes i'm being

very cynical here is he is driving the media crazy and he's driving his fellow democrats crazy and
