Well, that's been quite an interesting weekend, isn't it?

On Friday afternoon, I received my first telephone call from someone who shall remain nameless who said,

didn't the Dean Doris appear on your show on Friday morning

and say that she would never cause a by-election for the Tory party? I said, yep, that's exactly what

she said. And then they said, well, she's just resigned, thereby causing a by-election.

Right, okay, so that was the beginning. Next thing I know, Boris Johnson has also resigned based on the fact that he was going to be found guilty by the Standards Committee in the House of Commons.

Harriet Harmon in particular in charge of it, he said it was a kangaroo court, he said that it was unfair, he said that it was clearly biased,

he said that he was therefore going to cause a by-election over the course of the next few

months. There was number two, pepper falling over. And then number three, of course, Nigel Adams

came along on Saturday, was it, or Sunday? I can't remember. And he decided to resign as well.
