Peter Hitchens joins Mike at The Independent Republic to discuss the past weeks headlines. This week Mike and Peter discuss the latest from the Russia/Ukraine conflict as Ukraine says it has liberated more settlements, after President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged on Saturday that Kyiv's long-awaited counter-offensive had begun, however like the rest of the war this has been met with speculation. The two also discuss the efficacy of sex education in schools as Peter writes in his Daily Mail column after 70 years 'we have proof that it doesn't work'. Peter asks why so few accept that lockdown was like burning down your home to destroy a wasp's nest, and we discuss the latest regarding Boris Johnson as MPs tell Rishi Sunak the former PM must not be allowed to stand again, while Johnson ally Nigel Adams quits and triggers a third byelection. All that and so much more, so tune in!
