But today we have some butterfly mail and one of our butterflies asked how do I get over my toxic X? Go ahead and relax, open up your

journals and let's talk about this. Now I don't know the details of your particular situation so I'm going to give you

some general feedback that can be applied to any X. I also have a video on my YouTube channel which is dedicated to how to get over an X and it can help guide you if this is something you are struggling with.

Now if you want to get over him fast then you're going to have to cut him off.

No contact.

There should be no contact of any sort on any medium,

whether it's an email, a phone call, a message on social media.

There are so many ways now to get a hold of someone, but it needs to be on all mediums.

No contact. Now some people will ask, should I block his number?

It all depends on your situation. If he's bothering you and not respecting your boundaries

and he's reaching out to you and it's annoying you, then sure, block him.

But if you're blocking him so that you won't reach out, then it's almost like you're

placing the control in his hands. And really you're the one that holds that power. So you need to cut him off and you

cannot be tempted to reach out to him when you miss him or entertain any of

his advances.

Okay, this is going to be the test to yourself

to see how serious you are about wanting to get over him.

Because if you are serious, then you'll cut communication.
