I'm Hilary Kerr and this is Second Life, a podcast spotlighting women who have truly

inspiring careers. We're talking about their work journeys, what they've learned from the process

Today, I am beyond delighted to have the truly talented actress,

Busy Phillips in the studio. If you're like me, you've probably followed Busy's acting career

for ages, from freaks and geeks, to dozens, creek, to cooertown, to vice-principals,

and in movies like White Chicks and I Feel Pretty. You're also probably a fan of her

incredible social media presence and if not, trust me when I say that her Instagram stories

are the best. Period, full stop, the best. But while I've loved her as an actress for basically my

entire adult life, I'm most excited about her next big career job. As a late night talk show host

for her new show Busy Tonight, which is debuting this Sunday, October 28th, on E. Busy also just

wrote her first book, a memoir called This Will Only Heard A Little, which is in bookstores now.

In short, she's having a really cool Second Life and I am so excited to discuss it with her today.
