Hello. And welcome to the Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower, not a huge news day today

so we'll keep it pretty brief. Tesla stock on the day today did finish slightly down to

$2.24.74 down 0.13% compared to the NASDAQ with a strong day up 1.39%.

Tesla started off the day strong peeking just below $235 per share this morning, but then

steadily falling throughout the day that may have been impacted

by a business insider article with a headline of, quote, leaked documents suggest Tesla has not

met a model 3 production goal set by Elon Musk in recent weeks."

The article makes reference to the leaked email from Elon to employees on May 22nd,

where he set forth the goal of producing 1,000 model 3s per day, saying, quote,

based on current trends, we have a good chance of exceeding the record 90,700 deliveries of Q4 last year

and making this the highest deliveries slash sales quarter in

Tesla history. In order to achieve this we need sustained output of 1,000 model 3s

per day. Almost all parts of the model 3 production system have exceeded 1,000 units on multiple days,

and we've averaged about 900 per day this week, so we're only about 10% away from the 7,000 per week.

Business Insider is now claiming to have seen internal Tesla documents

detailing production volume for one segment of Model 3 production.
