Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Roberts and as always I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Maroon Friday edition of the yard. It is officially Rock Vegas Day.

All this came together pretty quick. We're going to have a lot more on that later in the show.

But I want to begin by wishing the best for our friends and neighbors in the state of Florida and those in advance of the

Hurricane Ian storm surge in the great state of South Carolina. I got many friends up there

and got some new friends from Columbia, South Carolina that had the opportunity to go and

speak to them at a recovery function here a couple months back. It has been a very difficult day

for many people. And those of us that have lived in Louisiana, Mississippi, we remember what it was

like with Katrina. This could be the same type of loss in many respects.

And so there are many bulldogs in that neck of the woods, and not that we ever wish ill on anybody,

but we've got some family down there that's not doing real good today.

And we're concerned about you.

We're concerned about your neighbors.

We're concerned about your loved ones, your pets,

your children, your schools, your places of worship. We're concerned about all that because this disruption of life. And many of you have worked so hard and put so many things together.

And yeah, insurance may cover most of that, if not all

of it, but there is, you know, the disturbance of your existence. And it's very difficult. And so

we love you. We support you. We're sorry that you're dealing with this. And it's incredible to think that the devastation

that this storm has reeked on the state of Florida, and now it's right back out there in the

Atlantic, kind of gathering some strength again for a second run at the continental United States.

A lot of devastation left in the wake of this storm and it's not done yet.

It's pretty rare that we see that sort of thing. So again, those of you that are down there,

we love you. We actually had a volunteer that was going to head up and help us with the show
