Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend that host Steve Robertson here on a magnificent Monday edition of the yard. It always makes the yard so much easier when it comes after a Bulldog victory. Man, it feels so good to win. It does. It just feels so good to win, especially one of these toss-up games. It could have gone on your. Mississippi State goes down and really takes care of business. That game was never in doubt. It really wasn't. State didn't get the fast start. However, it never felt like that A&M was really going to really take charge that ballgame. And, of course, State gets a big turnover early and marches down and takes a lead. We felt like it'd be a close ballgame. It turns out it wasn't a close ball game. State,

the more physical team, they outrush A&M, they beat A&M up, didn't allow a sack. First,

forced four turnovers, about as well as we play. and what's amazing about that is we had to

overcome some adversity with some bad officiating we had an untimely fumble probably could have

been prevented but the reality of it is despite that Mississippi State wins and really in many

respects embarrasses Texas A&M.

We knew that A&M was going to have trouble scoring without our help.

They did.

Now the Aggie's got to go to Tuscaloosa.

Good luck with that, boys.

But anyway, it feels so good to win.

Bulldogs now 4 and 1, 1 in a Southeastern Conference. I remember some tweets

earlier this year. I won't go dig them up. I remember some tweets back this summer from some,

you know, so-called experts, many of them just self-proclaimed experts suggesting State would

win four games this year. What we've won four.

We have seven left.

So it looks like those prognostications were false,

which, of course, those were rooted in fantasy rather than fact.
